Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2021
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/30/2021
First representing our nation at the 1998 World Junior Championships, Vincent Lecavalier has donned the mighty maple leaf on several occasions which included winning gold at the 2004 World Cup. From the 2001 IIHF World Championships held in Germany, we have a Team Canada jersey worn by the 2007 Maurice "Rocket" Richard Trophy winner during the pre-tournament, specifically against Sweden and Finland. A Nike size “58” label graces the collar, with no other labeling present. Styled with the Hockey Canada team crest, the mesh V-neck has been accented with oversized layered tackle twill sleeve and verso numbers, with Hockey Canada crests sewn to each shoulder. Sporting nice use with heavier wear to the material over the lower front and sleeves which includes marks, burns, scrapes and pulls, a large slit is also present over the lower front just above the hem. A Nike bar code numbered “27075” is heat-pressed to the inside hem, with an LOA from Hockey Canada to accompany.
