Experiencing an especially long professional hockey career that spanned over two decades, Yvon Corriveau was drafted by Washington in 1985 and made his NHL debut for the club that year, with later time spent with San Jose and Hartford. This Whalers jersey was worn by the Welland native in 1992-93, his fourth season in Connecticut. A Maska Ultrafil label and size “54” fly tag are affixed to the collar with handwritten “6”, with embroidered CCM and NHL crests sewn to the reverse hem. Styled with the classic Whalers team crest in layered tackle twill, “11” appears over the sleeves and verso in matching material, with the Stanley Cup centennial crest residing over the right breast. Sporting heavy game-use with marks, burns, scrapes and pulls over the front and sleeves, there is also a bit of red paint transfer on the elbow sections and reverse bottom.
