Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2021

Having the wrappers in which 1973-74 O-Pee-Chee cards came will be cool for you, with the team crest inserts mentioned on that from the 1st Series and a “Team Crest Ring” on the 2nd Series wrapper, with both flattened for years and displaying well, with a half-inch edge tear in the former. As for the 9-pocket page-housed cards, there is very little making it to NM, with VG to VG-EX examples showing up the most often and joined by both some EX and lower grade cards. The #3-Orr card (VG+) and rookie cards of Robinson (VG+ (OC)), Smith (G), Barber (EX-MT (MK)), Schultz (VG) and O’Reilly (G) are most notable, with the first two checklists marked and roughed-up and the unmarked #263 checklist VG-EX. For those interested in such things, grey backs are the majority in the red-bordered cards (49 are white backs), while grey backs (27) are the minority among 2nd Series cards. A few inserts contribute; A PSA MINT 9 NHL logo ring is joined by crease-free Bruins and Black Hawks rings, while team logo inserts total six, with significant fading to Chicago. Several possibilities here.
