Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2021

Defeated in the final by a strong Czech Republic team led by Jaromir Jagr, Canada would conclude the 2005 IIHF World Championship tournament with the three top leading scorers including Rick Nash, with this dual-signed Team Canada jersey issued to the 2002 1st overall draft selection. An IIHF label with Nike “56” sizing is affixed to the collar, with an IIHF patch over the reverse lower hem. Styled with the familiar Hockey Canada team crest with embroidered detailing, “61” is sewn to the sleeves and verso in layered tackle twill, with matching vintage-style alternate crests and Zepter sponsorship patches over each shoulder. An inventory bar code from Nike has also been heat-pressed to the inside hem. Nash has signed the red section of the team crest in black marker, adding a second autograph to the reverse “6”, with both signatures displaying well. Issued but never worn, the jersey remains in gorgeous new condition.
