First utilizing colour team logos on NHL game pucks in 1967, we offer a group of highly sought NHL pucks ranging from the expansion season of 1967-68 until the early-1980s totaling 9, with each hailing from inaugural-season Minnesota North Star and later WHA/WHL standout Ted McCaskill. Included, we have 4 1967-68 Art Ross Converse pucks – with these the first to show colour team logos – including two for the North Stars along with Pittsburgh and California, followed by a 1962-64 Art Ross puck with no team logo (“40” and other text is handwritten, possibly for McCaskill's 40th goal of the 1964-65 EHL season), a trio of 1969-77 Art Ross Converse pucks with screened reverses (Montreal and Vancouver-2), and a single Winnipeg Jets 1979-83 Viceroy puck. The pucks all show moderate wear with darkening of the logos (the 1967-68 Pens puck exhibits a few blemishes to the team logo, as does the Habs 1969-77 Converse puck), with a few edge gouges/cuts to the 1962-64, 1969-77 Canadiens and 1979-83 Jets pucks.
