Spending parts of four seasons in the OHL with Belleville, Malcolm Subban was selected by the Boston Bruins at the 2012 Entry Draft and made his NHL debut for the club on Feb 20, 2015. Subban had first attended the Bruins training camp prior to the 2013-14 season, appearing in a contest vs Detroit where the offered photo-matched stick saw use, with this his very first preseason contest according to our consignor. A Brian’s model that saw use in the loss to the Red Wings on Sept 19, 2013, “Subban” is stamped to the upper shaft, with the original black tape intact over the blade, paddle, handle and upper shaft. Heavy use is exhibited throughout with considerable wear including surface chipping over the blade, paddle and shaft, with a large crack to the paddle. A piece of clear tape has also been added to the shaft, with some red paint transfer also present. Getty Image #181317845 (Sept 19, 2013 preseason game vs Detroit) has been matched to a number of marks and surface chips visible over the blade and lower paddle. A COA will accompany.
