Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2020
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 10/20/2020
The only player in over a century of NHL hockey to summit the 200-point total in a single season, Wayne Gretzky achieved the feat four times, with only fellow Hall of Fame member Mario Lemieux coming close. This framed photo display has been signed by The Great One. Featuring a black and white 8” x 10” image of Wayne on home ice, looking up to evaluate the game stats, the legend has added a perfect blue sharpie signature, with an Oilers' pin placed above, and line drawing of Northlands Coliseum beneath. Double-matted and framed to full dimensions of approx 19 ¼” x 19 ¼”, a hologram from WGA has been affixed, with a matching COA to accompany. As an added bonus, a second framed photo is included (unsigned), with this 8” x 10” colour photo showing Gretzky in game-action, with a pin and name plaque below, framed to full dimensions of approx 15” x 16” (we should also note wear and some minor chipping to the frames).
