A four-time NHL First Team All-Star from 2012 to 2017, Erik Karlsson is widely regarded as one of the greatest blueliners in the game, with James Norris trophies as the premier defenceman won in both 2012 and 2015. This signed and photo-matched Ottawa Senators jersey was worn by the dominant Swede in 2011-12, his third season in the nation’s capital. A label with “56” sizing is affixed to the collar, with NHL and Reebok crests over the front and reverse necklines respectively. Featuring an attractive Sens team crest with embroidered detailing, “65” appears over the sleeves and verso in red-over-black tackle twill, with the 2012 All-Star game crest over the right breast. A McFarlane figurine is included, with Karlsson signing the base in gold. An 8” x 10” photo of Karlsson wearing this jersey will also accompany, along with a COA from the Senators (the photo and COA have both been signed by Karlsson as well).
The jersey has been signed within the reverse “5” in silver, with the signature blending into the background somewhat. Sporting just a few random marks over the lower front, there are team repairs, with a few large examples over each lower sleeve. The team patch also resides beneath the intact fight strap, with a serial number of “A-0274”. Getty Image #140804388 from March 6, 2012 has been matched to the big black mark on the right shoulder.
