Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2019
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/18/2019
The winner of the Frank J. Selke Trophy as the NHL's top defensive forward for three consecutive seasons from 2008 to 2010, Pavel Datsyuk is one of the modern era’s most talented players, with Lady Byng honours also garnered by the Russian superstar from 2006-2009. We have a stick used by Datsyuk circa 2013-14, during the time he was named captain of the Russian Olympic hockey team. A Reebok Tri Matrix model with “Datsyuk” factory graphics over the upper shaft, the stick retains the black tape over the blade and red-over-black cloth wrap on the handle, reinforced by a band or red electrical tape, with “13” handwritten in marker. Good use is exhibited, with wear to the taped section of blade including the underside, with additional marks and abrasions to the lower shaft.
