Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2019

A product of the Portland Winter Hawks, Andrew Ference has appeared for Pittsburgh, Calgary, Edmonton and Boston, winning a Stanley Cup with the boys from Beantown in 2011. We have a signed vintage-style Bruins jersey worn by the Edmonton native in 2006-07, his first of seven seasons in Boston. A throwback jersey designed like those worn by the Bruins from 1967-72, a label with “56” sizing is affixed to the collar, with NHL and Reebok crests on the reverse hem and back neckline respectively. Styled with the familiar spoked-B team crest fully administered in tackle twill, “21” appears over the sleeves and verso in matching material, along with “Ference” across the affixed nameplate. A couple washed-out marks are visible over the lower front band, with a few faint board burns over the upper left sleeve along with a small resulting hole. Ference has signed the reverse “2” in black marker, with no issues for the autograph. Getty Image #73645148 from March 3rd 2007 has been matched to marks on the left shoulder, while Getty Image #73645151, also from March 3rd, has been matched to the marks on the left shoulder, as well as to the extra threading on the bottom interior corner of the #21 on the right sleeve. A patch from MeiGray numbered “D05104” is affixed to the inside hem, and according to their population report, the jersey is a "Black Vintage Set 2" example.
