Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2019
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/26/2019
Originally worn for only half a season due to complaints from the Ottawa Senators who pointed out the similarity to their sweater, we have a “1912-13” style Montreal Canadiens centennial jersey that was issued to defenceman Mathieu Dandenault in 2008-09, with the Set 1 jerseys worn on February 1st 2009, a contest Dandenault never took part in. Size “58” tagging sits affixed to the collar, with handwritten “1” (for set 1), with NHL and Reebok crests on the front and back necklines respectively. Styled with the “CAC” maple leaf team crest that’s been partially embroidered, a red white and blue striping pattern has been utilized, with the tie-neck garment accented with tackle twill sleeve and verso numbers along with the Canadiens centennial crest over the right shoulder. With no game-use as the jersey was only issued, it remains in stunning condition. Don’t miss out on the opportunity to add this rarer-style example to your collection.
