Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction June 2018

The "Kid" finished off his Hall of Fame career in 1992 in Montreal where it had started and donned this blue warm up number 8 jersey. Gary Carter will always be remembered for his brilliant first eleven years as an Expo, smashing over 200 of his 324 home runs while helping the Expos win their only division title in 1981. There is bright red and white tackle-twill lettering with “8” over the front and reverse. An Expos logo is sewn on the left sleeve with the small Majestic brand logo on the right. Fantastic condition, the size 48 jersey shows just minimal wear. Carter was elected to the baseball Hall of Fame in 2003, passing in 2012.
