Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction June 2018
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/19/2018
Currently a scout with the Tampa Bay Lightning, winger Mikael Andersson enjoyed 15 seasons in the NHL, with the bulk of his career spent in Tampa Bay. We have a Lightning jersey worn by the Swede during the mid-1990s. A single size “54” fly tag remains affixed to the collar, with embroidered CCM and NHL crests over the reverse bottom hem. Styled with a textured Lightning team crest with “Tampa Bay” embroidered in blue above, and “Lightning” below, the white mesh V-neck has been accented with stylized and layered black, white and blue tackle twill sleeve and verso numbers, with matching alternate lightning bolt crests over each shoulder. Thorough use is exhibited on the garment with a few stick marks over the lower front, with large team repairs over and near each elbow section. There are also a few unrepaired slits/holes over each lower sleeve near the cuff, with a large slit just over the lower hem near the left seam. An LOA from the Tampa Bay Lightning Foundation will accompany, along with an additional Letter of Opinion.
