Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2017
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/7/2017
With just a single season spent in Steel City in the early-to-mid-1990s, we have a Pittsburgh Penguins jersey that was worn by Doug Brown in 1993-94. A size “50” fly tag and CCM labeling with handwritten “24” are affixed to the collar, with embroidered CCM and NHL crests on the back bottom hem. Styled with an attractive and textured Pens team crest, the solid white V-neck has been accented with dual-colour tackle twill sleeve and verso numbers, with “Brown” across the nameplate in matching material. The fight strap has also been customized, with white stick tape added. A number of large marks are present along the front and sleeves, with board burns with small resulting holes near each elbow section. There is also some red paint transfer over the upper right sleeve.
