There are four 1942-50 Art Ross Tyer NHL game pucks featured in this vintage hockey puck collection of 13, including one that comes in an original CCM box. Each of the four pucks displays the small rubberized NHL orange octagon Art Ross Tyer label on the face. A 1950-58 Art Ross Tyer NHL game puck has the larger orange octagon on both the face and the reverse. Also included are five 1960s/1970s CCM and Viceroy pucks with four variations of CCM pucks, one of which has “Phoenix Roadrunners Dec. 1972 Russia” on the reverse, a mid-1970s Art Ross Tyer Converse puck, a mid-to-late-1960s WHL Vancouver Canucks puck with two screened team logos, and a vintage circa 1960s AHL Cleveland Barons puck.
The 1942-50 Art Ross Tyer NHL game pucks are nicely preserved overall. One has a chip on the top edge, one has a few nicks around both edges, one has a chip on each edge and various nicks, and one has two gouges on the side. The puck box is missing the bottom flap.
The 1950-58 Art Ross Tyer NHL game puck has a couple of chips on the bottom edge.
The circa 1960s Barons puck features the team logo on the face and a mounting hole on the reverse, which has a staple through the “N” in “Cleveland Hockey Club”.
