Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction June 2017
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/21/2017
Debuting with the Mets in 1979, relief pitcher Jeff Reardon saw MLB action with a number of clubs, and he’s currently ranked 9th on the all-time saves list with 367. This signed Montreal Expos warm-up jacket was donned by Reardon during his time with the club in the early-to-mid 1980s. Starter labeling is affixed to the collar, with an embroidered Starter logo over the left cuff. Styled with an attractive Expos tackle twill logo over the left breast, the solid blue zip-up has been accented with “41” over the left sleeve along with “Reardon” across the reverse both in matching material. Reardon has signed vertically within the white section of the team crest in black marker, and the signature displays well. With no obtrusive wear present, the jacket remains in wonderful condition. The proceeds from this sale will go to the Kat D DIPG Foundation at the Montreal Children's Hospital. A Reardon signed LOA will accompany.
