The Montreal Canadiens celebrated their 100th anniversary in grand style on December 4, 2009, with Habs icons Jean Beliveau, Henri Richard, Guy Lafleur and Patrick Roy front and center amid the dozens of the team's alumni on hand for the pregame festivities prior to the Habs' Centennial Game against Boston. This magnificent limited-edition Montreal Canadiens Centennial framed print, signed by 100 Habs legends, is numbered 206/2009 (registered to Pierre Mondou) and features a Maurice Richard cut autograph which stands alone in the middle of the massive 42" x 60" frame. An LOA will accompany. Please contact us for information about special shipping arrangements or pick-up.
Butch Bouchard and Elmer Lach both had their numbers retired prior to the Canadiens' 5-1 win over the Bruins and each signed here along with Beliveau, Henri Richard, Lafleur, Roy and fellow HOFers Cournoyer, Duff, Lapointe, Moore, Serge Savard and Shutt. Alumni who have signed along with members of the 2009-10 team include Backstrom, Bellows, Bonin, Carbonneau, Courtnall, Damphousse, Desjardins, Gilmour, Goyette, Green, Harper, Hillman, Hodge, Jarvis, Keane, Lambert, Langlois, Larose, Lebeau, LeClair, Lemieux, Pete Mahovlich, Marshall, McDonald, McPhee, Mondou, Muller, Naslund, Nilan, Odelein, Quintal, Richer, Rousseau, Savage, Sevigny, Skrudland, Smith, Souray, St. Laurent, Talbot, Thibault, Gilles Tremblay and Wilson. Their blue Sharpie signatures are displayed in a cut-out which measures roughly 12" x 48" along the bottom of the display, which features a nighttime winter scene. Moonbeams in blue, white and red shine down on "100" written in the snow with a hockey stick, puck and skates resting against a fence in this scene signed in the lower right by artist "Rufi Ange". Simply a remarkable limited-edition Montreal Canadiens Centennial signed and framed print.
