The Golden Brett’s 1,000th regular season point with Dallas in 1998-99 on the way to winning the Stanley Cup is commemorated by this pair of Tiffany & Co. crystal awards presented by the NHL and the NHLPA. The NHL award with Tiffany & Co etched on the bottom has Hull’s name and the details of the milestone etched on the flat circular portion of the upper front. It stands 9” tall with a chip on the top left edge. The NHLPA award has pieces broken off both chipped upper corners of its “1000 Points” crystal with Tiffany & Co etched on the bottom. It stands 7” tall overall, including its rectangular base with a sterling silver plaque on the front. Comes with Brett Hull’s signed LOA.
The NHL crystal award has “Brett Hull, Dallas Stars, Congratulations on Your 1,000th NHL Point, Dallas 3 at Boston 1, November 14, 1998, Gary B. Bettman and the National Hockey League” engraved on the front. It measures about 5” x 2 3/8” at the widest portions of its oval-shaped bottom, which exhibits some surface scratches.
The NHLPA crystal award features “1000 points” and the NHLPA logo etched on the back of a crystal that measures 5 1/2" x 4 5/8” in the rectangular front. The crystal, which has an asymmetrical pyramid shape made up of four triangular portions in the back, stands 7” tall overall as mounted on its rectangular base with a sterling silver plaque on the front with details of Hull’s milestone. silver plaque on the front of the base of the NHLPA award has “Brett Hull, November 14, 1998, Dallas Stars (3) vs. Boston Bruins (1), Goal by Jere Lehtinen, assisted by Brett Hull and Mike Modano” engraved on it. “Tiffany & Co. Makers Sterling” is stamped on the bottom right corner of the plaque, which is attached by screws at the corners to the front of the 6 3/4" x 3 1/2" base that stands 2” tall with black felt underneath.
