Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction February 2018
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/27/2018
Remembered for his TKO knockout of perennial tough guy Bob Probert, Dave Morissette saw action in a number of leagues, with 11 games spent in the NHL with Montreal. This Canadiens jersey was worn by the Baie-Comeau native in 1999-00, where he played in only a single game, on February 16th 2000 vs the Trashers in Atlanta. A Pro Player label along with sizing sits affixed to the collar, with embroidered Pro Player and NHL crests on the back bottom hem. Styled with the most famous team crest in hockey, the red V-neck has been accented with dual-colour tackle twill sleeve and verso numbers, with the NHL 2000 crest over the right breast. With just a few dark marks across the lower front including over the team crest, the jersey remains in gorgeous condition. An LOA from the Canadiens’ organization will accompany.
