This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/16/2020
Selected 41st overall by the Calgary Flames at the 1991 NHL Entry Draft, Francois Groleau saw action in 8 games for Montreal, spread over 3 seasons, with additional time spent in a number of leagues throughout his career including the AHL, DEL, IHL and others. This Canadiens' jersey was issued to the Longueuil native in the mid-to-late-1990s. A single size “56” fly tag is affixed to the collar, with embroidered CCM and NHL crests over the reverse hem. Styled with the most famous team crest in hockey, “48” appears over the sleeves and verso in white-over-blue tackle twill, with “Groleau” across the affixed nameplate in single white twill. Issued but never worn, the jersey remains in gorgeous like-new condition. Obtained directly from the Montreal Canadiens, a signed LOA from Rejean Houle on Montreal Canadiens' letterhead will accompany.
