While we all know that milk does a body good, milk cartons with hockey players pictured makes the dairy product even better! We have just that, with a wonderful and rarely-seen hockey milk carton collection of 100+. Included, we have 10 complete 2L milk cartons for the 1982-83 Sabres, a partial set of 14 1978-79 Clover Leaf Dairy Minnesota North Stars (bottom of cartons cut off) with duplicates inc. panels 1 to 5 with three #3 five #4 with variations, two #5 with variations and 2 rule panels, 2 circa-1971 Philadelphia Flyers cut-out panels, 3 1971-72 Tulsa Oilers cut-out panels, 5 1978-79 Buffalo Sabres tips cut-out pictures, 3 circa-1978 Face-off players cut-out panels, 6 1980-81 Buffalo Sabres cut-out panels single players, 7 1980-81 Buffalo Sabres cut-out panels 2 players per panel, 1982-83 Vitality Buffalo Sabres near complete set (16/18), 1982-83 Vitality Buffalo Sabres starter set (8/18), 20 cut-out 1981-82 Buffalo Sabres panels (2 different sizes) and 6 circa-1985-86 Winnipeg Jets cut-out panels. There is also a 1978-79 Minnesota North Stars panel 9 cut-out and a 1970s Flint Generals milk carton (schedule).
The Sabres full cartons include Bowman, Foligno, Housley and a home schedule, while the Clover Leaf North Stars include Meloche, Parise and Bobby Smith (with duplication). The 6 1980-81 Buffalo Sabres cut-out panels single players includes Gare and Sauve, while the Tulsa Oilers cut-outs include Lundrigan, Miron and Bob Duncan. Lastly, the circa-1971 Flyers cut-out panels includes Kelly and Favell, with the circa 1985-86 Jets cut-outs to include Hawerchuk, Ellett, MacLean, Mullen, Boschman and Randy Carlyle. The 10 full-size and complete Sabres cartons all retain their shape, with the cut-outs all varying in condition, with the majority exhibiting just expected wear commensurate with their former use, with some staining, creasing and rough-cut edges.
