A veteran of 14 NHL seasons with 6 different clubs, Kris King accumulated over 2,000 PIM during his career, with over 900 games played both regular-season and playoffs. Purchased directly from Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment Ltd and from his final of three seasons spent with the team, we have a Toronto Maple Leafs jersey worn by the Homepayne native during the second half of the 1999-00 NHL season. A CCM label and size “56” fly tag are affixed to the collar, with NHL and CCM crests over the reverse hem. Styled with the classic Leafs team crest with embroidered detailing, “12” appears over the sleeves and verso in layered tackle twill, with the NHL 2000 and Toronto All-Star Game crests over the right breast. Exhibiting great game use, there are a few board burns visible over the lower front, with heavy wear over each lower sleeve, with approx a dozen team repairs on the right sleeve and 7 on the left. There is also a small slit on the right shoulder. The team patch resides on the inside hem, and it denote’s the jersey as a “Set 2” example, with an LOA from the Maple Leafs to accompany.
