Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction June 2018

Awarded the Art Ross and Lester B. Pearson trophies during his 96-point season of 1999-00, Jaromir Jagr appeared in every NHL All-Star Game from 1992 to 2004 (except 1995), with selection to the NHL First All-Star Team seven times! We have a Pittsburgh Penguins captain’s jersey from that very season of 1999-00, with this highly desirable example photo-matched. Pro Player labeling with a size “56” tag grace the collar, with NHL and Pro Player crests over the reverse bottom hem. Styled with the Pens team crest that saw use from 1999 to 2002, the white V-neck has been accented with black tackle twill captain’s “C” and numbers with gold trim, with the NHL 2000 crest over the right breast. Hammered with use, a ton of puck and stick marks litter the front and sleeves, with additional marks over the team crest.
Screen pics from videos from a game in February 2000 have been matched to; the black mark on the lower left side of the team crest, the black mark on the lower right sleeve at the junction of the yellow and white stripe, the black mark on the lower left sleeve and the black mark just below the front collar. The video caption also states “Jaromir Jagr 5-Game Point Streak (1 goal 7 assists)".
