Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction February 2018
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/27/2018
From the twilight of his glorious time with the Montreal Canadiens which would include three Art Ross Trophies (1976, 1977, 1978) and two Hart Memorial Trophies (1977, 1978). We have a game-used and signed stick from the HOF legend, hailing from the early-to-mid-1980s. A Sher-Wood PMP 5030 model, “Lafleur G 10” appears stamped-on, with the striping sticker removed/lost at some point. Featuring a pleasing curve, the stick retains its tape on the handle/knob and blade, with nice use exhibited including wear to the taped section of blade along with a few marks to the lower shaft. There is also a large crack along the backside of the blade, but the stick remains solid. Guy has signed across the front side of the lower shaft in black marker, and the signature stands out beautifully. A COA for the signature will accompany.
