His longest stint outside of his time with the Toronto Maple Leafs, Felix Potvin would enjoy a trio of seasons in Hollywood near the conclusion of his career, and would protect the net of the Los Angeles Kings in 42 regular-season contests the year the offered photo-matched blocker and glove combination were worn, in 2002-03. Brian’s Airlite models in Kings colours, “Felix Potvin” is embroidered to each, along with affixed Felix the Cat leather patches. Moderate game-use is exhibited on the pair, with surface wear and numerous puck marks to the face of the blocker and light wear to the palm, with a few marks to the glove along with a grey reinforcing patch added to the pocket. We should also note that the goal pads worn with the blocker and glove have also been photo-matched, and are available in this auction. Hailing from his personal collection, a signed LOA from Felix Potvin will accompany.
