Magnificent gold and diamond championship ring commemorating the 1972-73 Toronto Marlboros Memorial Cup title weighs approximately 17 grams. Defenseman Dennis Owchar received this ring, one of which was presented to the entire team, including Mark and Marty Howe, Bruce Boudreau, Bob Dailey and goalie Mike Palmateer, by owner Harold Ballard, who patterned its design after the Maple Leafs’ 1967 Stanley Cup ring. “Memorial Cup Champions” encircles a spectacular diamond set in the tableau. The team name, logo and "1973" are displayed on one shank, while the other has an image of the Memorial Cup. "Dennis Owchar" is engraved inside the size 11 band, which has a “10K” stamp. Comes with Dennis Owchar’s signed LOA.
This magnificent championship ring displays nice details with surface scratches, mainly on the band. A small dent on the bottom of the front edge below the tableau is evidence of proud wear that also shows in a few nicks and dings to the top and bottom edges of the band.
