Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction June 2017

St. Louis Blues superstar Brett Hull hit the 60-goal mark for the first time when he put this puck past fellow HOFer Patrick Roy on February 25, 1990. The Golden Brett scored the second goal of his hat trick in a 6-5 loss to the Canadiens at the old Montreal Forum to reach the milestone on his way to a 72-goal season in 1989-90. Game use shows in marks on the CH logo on the face of this Canadiens InGlasCo NHL official game puck. “60” is written in marker on a piece of white hockey tape on the reverse and a label affixed to the edge has “60 – at Montreal, February 25, 1990” typed on it. Comes with Brett Hull's signed LOA.
The 1989-90 season was the first one in which Hull score 50 of more goals, a feat he accomplished five times during his career.
