The oldest American NHL franchise and arguably the most important, the Boston Bruins began life almost a century ago, and starting with Art Ross, the club has featured some of the most important individuals to the sport. This lot offers a great collection of Bruins items totaling 10 including 8 signed and framed photos. First, we have 8” x 10” photos framed to slightly larger dimensions for HOFers Milt Schmidt, Woody Dumart and Gerry Cheevers along with Pat Stapleton, John McKenzie and Ken Hodge, followed by matted 8” x 10” photos set in larger frames for Johnny Bucyk (signed in blue sharpie, framed to 13 ½” x 16 ½”) and Phil Esposito (signed in blue sharpie, framed to 14 ½” x 16 ½”). Next, we have a Bruins 1970 replica team crest framed to 12” x 15”, and a pair of vintage 1970s Phil Esposito model Daoust skates in the original pictorial box (14” x 12 ½” x 5” with light to moderate wear). The skates show light use, with the right skate signed in silver by Espo, with the signature flawless. A few items have holograms affixed, with the Espo skates and Cheevers signed photo accompanied by COAs.
