From Bobby Orr’s brush cut days until he had led the Bruins to two Stanley Cup championships and established himself as one of hockey’s all-time greatest players, this encapsulated ensemble is sure to garner interest. Bobby’s All-Star and Calder Trophy cards from 1967-68 are slabbed ENM 6 by KSA, with his regular (#92) card at EX 5. O-Pee-Chee ’69-70 representatives at ENM+ 6.5 are #s 24 and 212-All-Star, with 209-Norris Trophy close at ENM 6, while Topps #24 is a VGE 4. Multiples from ’70-71 OPC include two #3s (ENM+ 6.5 and EX 5), two 236-All-Star (NM+ 7.5 and NM 7) and two each of the trophy cards. They are 246-Hart (7.5, 7), 248-Norris (7.5, 6), 249-Art Ross (6.5, 6) and 252-Conn Smythe (7, 6.5). Regular OPC issues from ’71-72 (#100) are ENM 6 and EX 5, with four from ’72-73 a nice way to end off. Two are NM 7s, with an ENM+ 6.5 and an ENM 6 completing. Score with Orr!
