Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2017
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 3/8/2017
A Hall of Fame inductee in 1983, Bobby Hull still holds the Chicago Black Hawks all-time record for goals with 604. The legendary winger is also a 12-time All-Star, with a Stanley Cup victory occurring in 1961. We have a pair of signed Black Hawks items, with a vintage-style signed jersey, along with a Chicago Stadium display that has been multi-signed. The jersey is an acrylic/wool number, with partially embroidered team crest along with felt numbers and chenille alternate crests, with Bobby signing the “6” on verso in white, adding “Stanley Cup 1961”. The display features an 18” x 24” print of the Chicago Stadium with a plaque beneath listing the particulars, double-matted and framed to full dimensions of 31 ¼” x 25 ¾”. Four Illinois legends have signed above in silver, with Hull, Chelios, Belfour and Tony Esposito. A COA will accompany for the Hull jersey.
The Hull signature on the vintage-style jersey is flawless, while the jersey itself remains in wonderful condition. The display exhibits a few creases to the print, while the signatures and frame remain problem free.
