A trio of Detroit Red Wings stars including a retired Hall of Fame member are featured, with sticks used by Chris Chelios, Andreas Athanasiou and Anthony Mantha. First, the Chelios is an Easton Stealth model from the mid-to-late-2000s, with “Chelios” factory graphics, and the original black tape over the blade and white over the handle. The Mantha is a CCM Revolution model from 2017-18 with “Mantha” factory graphics, along with the original white tape over the blade and red cloth wrap over the handle, with “39” handwritten. Lastly, the Athanasiou is a Bauer Vapor model from 2017-18 with “Athanasiou” factory graphics, along with the original black cloth wrap over the handle, with the tape removed from the blade. The Mantha and Athanasiou sticks also sport factory codes and serial numbers with bar codes on the undersides of the shafts.
The Chelios exhibits moderate to heavier use, with wear to the taped section of blade including the underside, along with surface abrasions to a few areas along the shaft. There is also some red paint transfer over the knob and upper shaft. The Mantha also exhibits nice use, with puck marks on both sides of the blade and lower shaft, along with abrasions to the surface/finish. The Athanasiou stick has a surface crack on the front side of the blade near the heel, with a few marks to the lower shaft.
