Especially relevant to the game for over 30 years, Clarence Henry "Hap" Day first appeared for Toronto when the club still utilized the St Patricks moniker in 1924-25, and would spend over a dozen seasons on the Leafs blue line. The superstar would later coach the blue and white, with his name engraved on the Stanley Cup seven times. We have a collection of five Leafs documents signed by the 1961 HOF inductee. Included, we have an Option Agreement “C” from 1956 for David Reid, an Option Agreement “C” from 1951 for Robert Robertson, a Standard Assignment Agreement from 1951 for Michael Ratchford, a Form “C” Agreement from 1947 for James Pernfuss and a Standard Assignment Agreement from 1950 for John Poland. Each signature has been scripted in either blue or black ink, with no issues for the signatures and just light wear to the documents.
Each document is approx 8 ½” x 11”, with the Form “C” Agreement from 1947 8 ½” x 14” unfolded.
