Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2021
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/30/2021
The youngest Montreal Canadien in history to score 50 goals in a season as well as 100 career goals, Stephane Richer made his NHL debut for the Habs in 1984-85 and enjoyed two separate stints with the club which included a Stanley Cup championship in 1986. From the first season of his second time with the club, we have a Canadiens jersey that was issued to Richer for the 1996-97 season. A size “56” fly tag is affixed to the collar, with embroidered CCM and NHL crests over the reverse hem. Styled with the most famous team crest in hockey, “44” is sewn to the sleeves and verso in layered tackle twill, with “Richer” across the affixed nameplate in single white twill. Issued and never worn, the jersey remains in wonderful condition. Obtained directly from the Montreal Canadiens, a Classic Auctions LOA will accompany.
