Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2021
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/30/2021
Representing his nation at the 1984 Winter Olympics, defenceman Robin Bartel is a product of the Prince Albert Raiders, and spent parts of two seasons in the NHL. From his time with the Canadian National Team where he saw action in 23 contests, we have a Team Canada jersey worn by the Drake native in 1989-90. Sporting a Maska label affixed to the collar with handwritten “56” sizing, an embroidered CCM crest resides on the reverse hem, with a trio sponsorship patches placed just above. Featuring the Hockey Canada team crest, “2” is sewn to the sleeves and verso in layered tackle twill, with matching team patches over each shoulder. There is also evidence of a former nameplate. Exhibiting heavy game-use with numerous puck and stick marks throughout, there are also a few small holes present near the team crest and over the left sleeve. The fight strap also shows heavy wear with some fraying along edges. An LOA from Hockey Canada will accompany.
