Enjoying a complete lifetime in hockey, Max McNab would do it all during his career, everything from winning a Stanley Cup as a player in the National Hockey League to serving as Vice President of Hockey Operations with the New Jersey Devils. Also having served as a long-time coach in the old Western Hockey League as well as General Manager of the NHL's Washington Capitals and New Jersey Devils along with Team Canada at the 1982 IIHF World Championships, offered here is this collection of memorabilia from McNab's personal collection including his 1982 Hockey Hall of Fame dinner medallion, 1998 Lester Patrick Award event program and souvenir lucite puck and 2019 Saskatchewan Hockey Hall of Fame induction program. Starting with the dinner medallion, honouring the Class of 1982 that included Yvan Cournoyer, Emile Francis, Rod Gilbert and Norm Ullman, the medallion is gold-colored and measures 2" in diameter while displaying the date of the gala dinner affair and the names of that specific year’s inductees plus the NHL shield logo. On the other side, the Hall of Fame’s logo and "National Hockey League Hall of Fame Dinner" is observed, with the piece remaining in good condition overall, showing just light wear and age while being accompanied by its original presentation case that shows the NHL shield logo over the top. For the 1998 Lester Patrick Award program and souvenir lucite puck, from when McNab was recognized for his contribution to ice hockey in the United States by the NHL and USA Hockey, also receiving the award that year was Neal Broten, Peter Karmanos Jr. and John Mayasich. With the program in overall good condition despite some creasing, pinholes, light bends and stains, the souvenir puck measures approximately 2 3/4" in diameter and shows the award logo as well as the names of that years winners and remains in good shape with just a bit of light scratching throughout. Lastly, the 2019 Saskatchewan Hockey Hall of Fame induction program is in good condition with creasing and edge/corner wear to the covers on both sides.
