A long-serving captain for the Toronto Maple Leafs, Mats Sundin is currently the Leafs' all-time leader in goals and points. Drafted first overall by the Quebec Nordiques in 1989, Sundin would also represent his native Sweden on numerous occasions throughout his career, winning an Olympic gold medal in 2006. Up for grabs here, we have this stick used by Sundin as a member of the Maple Leafs during the 1995-96 season of play. A Bauer made Supreme 3030 model twig with "M Sundin" stamped over the upper shaft, the stick retains its original white tape job over the handle and knob while the blade tape has long since been removed to faciliate Sundin's flowing blue marker ink autograph that he has penned over the forehand side of the blade. Displaying without issue, the autograph comes with a CSI COA with a hologram from the company also having been affixed over the blade as well. Sporting a largely intact foil accent sticker over the bottom of the shaft, the stick displays with light-to-moderate game-use via a number of dark marks and abrasions over the heel, lower shaft and shaft while other marks and light residue from the formerly applied tape are present over the forehand side of the blade as well.
