Offered by Classic Auctions and the NHLPA to benefit the SickKids Foundation, this Black Hawks jersey was worn in the warm-up prior to the 2015 Winter Classic by Marian Hossa. Size tagging is affixed to the collar, with “2015 NHL Winter Classic” screened-on, along with NHL and Reebok crests on the front and back necklines respectively. Featuring a partially embroidered Indian head team crest, the jersey has been adorned with twill numbers along with matching tomahawk patches on each sleeve. The solid white mesh also sports the important 2015 Winter Classic crest over the right shoulder. With no visible wear present other than a small faint mark on the lower front, the jersey remains in gorgeous condition. An LOA from the NHLPA will accompany.
An inverted MeiGray patch numbered L08558 sits on the inner hem, and according to their population report, the jersey is an "NHLPA Set - Worn During Warmup - 1/1/15 at Nationals Park / White - Winter Classic 1/1/15 at Nationals Park" example.
The seventh installment of the highly popular event, the 2015 Winter Classic was played on New Years Day in Washington and it was closely contested, with Alexander Ovechkin and the hometown Capitals taking on Jonathan Toews and Chicago.
