Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2021

Retiring after hoisting the world’s greatest sporting trophy, Lanny McDonald hung-up his skates after himself and teammates claimed the Calgary Flames first Stanley Cup championship in franchise history in 1989. This multi-signed jersey was worn by the HOF star after his NHL career, at the Legends of Hockey Game circa-2010, as part of the Hall of Fame Weekend in Toronto. Produced by CCM with size “52” labeling affixed to the collar along with a vintage style Leafs team crest with “Alumni” directly beneath, “McDonald” is sewn to the nameplate in individual blue twill letters, with a “Legends of Hockey” crest situated just above the right breast. Sporting light use with a few dark marks visible along with areas of discolouration to each sleeve, McDonald has signed the upper chest in slightly faded blue marker, along with Darryl Sittler and Tiger Williams. Hailing from his personal collection, a signed LOA from Lanny McDonald will accompany.
