Jean Beliveau Foundation Auction

The hands responsible for lighting NHL goal lights 507 times during the regular season and another 79 times during the playoffs slid these Cooper gloves on near the end of the 1960s. Jean Beliveau’s all-leather red, white and blue gloves here show plenty of game use and are the style worn by the Hall-of-Famer during his last three- plus seasons, meaning the early-1970s are also a possibility. They also look like they may have been re-palmed back then. They’re blackened and scuffed throughout but still in great shape with no holes or detracting flaws. Hockey’s most respected and admired
ambassador over the years autographed each glove twice in blue
sharpie. Originally obtained directly from Mr. Beliveau, the fabulous
equipment will come with his signed letter of authenticity. Outstanding!
