Offered for your consideration are ten (10) original 35mm color and B&W negatives of Gilles Villeneuve at the Canadian Grand Prix/ These were originally shot by the renowned sport photographer Denis Brodeur at the Canadian Grand Prix in the late-1970s and early-1980s and are his original negatives. Included in this lot are four negatives from the 1978 race held in Montreal which was the 16th and final race of the 1978 World Championship of F1 Drivers, and the International Cup for F1 Constructors and Ferrari’s driver Gilles Villeneuve won the race and it was his first victory in Formula One. Another image of his car is also from circa 1978. A late-1970s example shows Villeneuve casually dressed at an event for the Montreal Grand Prix. Completing this lot is a negative from 1980, one from 1981 with his brother and a pair from the early-1980s. Scans of all the original negatives are shown on this listing with the original negative nearby and the scans of the original negatives will be send electronically to the winning bidder. Also included are seven (7) printed 8 x 10 inches photos of Villeneuve printed from other Brodeur negatives. Great lot for your F1 - Gilles Villeneuve collection.
