Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2019

With 691 wins, Martin Brodeur sits safely at the pinnacle of the all-time wins list of NHL goalie greats. Offered is Martin’s Heaton Helite-IV goal stick, factory stamped “M. Brodeur” on the shaft with the factory date of “13 Mars 1997”. The creamy-white knob tape job has “BUF” added in marker, a common trait on Brodeur’s game day sticks as he would code his gamers with the first letters of his opponent. Taking into account the production date and the team’s remaining schedule, this stick was most-likely used early in the following season against the Sabres. The blade is taped in black and shows great use, especially along the bottom edge. A magnificent example with a perfect gold paint pen signature low on the shaft!
