This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/7/2017
Soon to be only the ninth New York Ranger in history to have his number retired by the famous club, Jean Ratelle spent 15 seasons in Manhattan, with 6 additional prosperous years spent with Boston, culminating in his 1985 HOF induction. This is the original HOF ring that was presented to Ratelle upon his enshrinement. Size 9 ½” with a weight of approx. 13 grams, the Hockey Hall of Fame's original logo on the face of the ring features green enameling, with “June 85" engraved on the inside of the band along with "14K". A number of scratches are present along the length of the band including edges, with some minor additional wear to the interior. A signed LOA from Mr. Ratelle will accompany this important keepsake.
