Hall of Fame defenseman Chris Pronger’s 2005-06 Oilers game-worn playoffs jersey is photo-matched to Game 7 of the Western Conference finals. The long loose thread in the crest on the front of Pronger’s gamer and the two small white loose threads in the first "4" of No. 44 on the left sleeve show in Getty Images photo #81429209 taken during the Oilers’ 2-1 win over the Mighty Ducks at Arrowhead Pond on May 27, 2006, which sent Edmonton on to the Stanley Cup Final for the first time since 1990. Pronger’s 21 points in 24 playoff games led the Oilers, who lost the seven-game final to Carolina. MeiGray patch sewn inside the rear tail is No. C03573, which corresponds to the accompanying LOA.
Game wear shows in light board burns and a few unrepaired burn holes on the left sleeve, a faint reddish-brown spot stain on the front tail below the Oilers crest, which has a few faint marks, and a few faint marks on the front of the right shoulder near the collar. The “2005-2006 Season” square patch is sewn inside the rear hem to the left of the “Elite Sportswear Edmonton Oilers 2005-2006 Set 3” team patch and the MeiGray NHL Game-Worn Jersey 2004-2005 Season patch with registry No. C03573. Elite Sportswear and Size 58 flag tags sit in the back of the neck.
