Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction February 2018
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/27/2018
Featuring the game’s most famous “4”, we have a great little group of Bobby Orr items which includes his issued 1972 Summit Series game stick, a signed and framed “The Goal” display and a signed Victoriaville replica stick. The 1972 game stick, used by an unknown player and not Orr, feature’s “B ORR” over the shaft, with white tape over the knob and a single strand of black over the blade. White and red striping accents were also added over the original Bruins accents, with the top decal somewhat loose. The framed display feature’s a 16” x 20” image of The Goal, with a small plaque inserted below along with a pair of Bruins pins, framed to full dimensions of 26” x 28”. Orr has signed beneath his image, and the signature is somewhat light, most likely due to a weak marker.
The Victoriaville replica has “B. Orr” stamped-on, with the familiar white over black beehive-style tape job over the handle, along with a single black strand over the blade. Orr has signed across the blade in black marker adding a personalization, with both the signature and stick in beautiful condition.
