Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction February 2018

"The good, the bad, the ugly" comes to mind while examining this pieced-together ensemble and we'll start with the positive, which includes four graded cards. Three are PSA-slabbed, with #46-Ted Lindsay at NM 7 (OC), while 29-Ted Kennedy and 96-Terry Boots Out Teeder's Blast are EX 5s. A rookie card of 82-Fred Sasakamoose received a mark of VG 3 from SGC. The key Johnny Bower rookie looks to be signed in blue ballpoint and is in pleasing EX condition. Another dozen are EX, including 36-Delvecchio and action cards 90, 91 and 98 and then it's all over the place in the lower-than-EX world. Notables without major damage are 3-Beliveau (VG), 14-Harvey (G+) and 31-Horton (VG+ with heavy toning). Mostly VG and below, before we get to the low, low grade group of (36), affected by one or more of the following: multiple/heavy creases (33-Sawchuk), writing, paper loss, glue/tape residue, etc. The Richard has a badly torn back, with a pin hole in the Gordie Howe and another dozen measuring short, suggesting trimming.
