Capping of a 78-point season with his second Hart Trophy, Jean Beliveau would lead the Montreal Canadiens to a first-place finish at the conclusion of the 1963-64 NHL regular season, with this watch presented to the superstar for the Habs status as Prince of Wales champions. A Gruen Precision model with a full colour Canadiens logo on the dial beneath the hands, the reverse has been engraved “Prince of Wales Trophy – Jean Beliveau – 1963-64”. There is also a "Gruen 14K gold" stamping on the reverse of the case. Currently in working order, the watch exhibits light to moderate wear over the band, with a few scratches and marks to the glass. Originally acquired directly from Jean Beliveau, an LOA from the Beliveau family will accompany.
