Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2020

The storied life of goaltending legend Terry Sawchuk began NHL-wise in 1950-51 when he made quite an impression indeed, blanking the opposition 11 times and allowing less than two goals a game to merit Calder Trophy laurels. His career mark of 103 shutouts stood until one Martin Brodeur came along. Sawchuk’s desirable ’51-52 Parkhurst rookie card is offered here in VG-EX 4 form, the crease-free example featuring an image right of center, along with not-drastic corner wear and a problem-free back. Backstopping Detroit to three Stanley Cup titles in four years, starting in ’51-52, leading the league in wins five straight years and a record 446 career victories were among Terry’s Hall of Fame credentials. Like we said at the top...“legend.”
