Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2020
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 10/20/2020
Extremely scarce and highly sought in the hobby, these golden metal rings were part of the Bee Hive corn syrup promotion that ran from 1949 to 1951. A smiling Turk Broda, the Leafs' Hall-of-Fame goaltender, is pictured on the front of this desirable specimen, with one side featuring a miniature of the trophy that all players dream of winning, with "Stanley Cup" engraved above. The other side has a puck with crossed hockey sticks and "NHL" above. The coveted treasure shows moderate wear including a scratch across the face, with some minor discolouration and surface wear over each side, with the circular band intact. This is only the third Turk Broda Bee Hive premium ring that we have ever handled.
