Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction February 2016
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/23/2016
Classic collectibles here are accompanied by a nifty cut signature of Tim Horton, the latter incorporated into a dandy index card display which features an image of the legendary blueliner and his Hockey Hall of Fame induction year. The blue ballpoint autograph has been slabbed and deemed authentic by PSA. Displaying well is the front of a 1954-55 Parkhurst card of Horton, with however the reverse of card #31 damaged by glue and paper loss. A terrific image of a young Tim is featured on a Quaker Oats photo which has but a couple of small subtle light bends/creases and a tiny edge tear to mention. A Bee Hive picture is also free of any real unsightly flaws, while completing from recent years is a vintage style Maple Leafs jersey, (men’s size large), that features “Horton” on a sewn-on nameplate above Tim’s familiar number “7”. It’s in like-new condition with its original tags - nice.
