The oldest American NHL franchise, the Boston Bruins just concluded their 95th season, with the club able to claim some of the all-time greatest players wearing the black and gold including Eddie Shore, Bobby Orr and Raymond Bourque. We have a vintage pennant collection totaling 7, ranging from the 1950s to 1970s. All in the full-size 30” range give or take, first, we have a popular 1950s player pennant, with this a two-tone version/variation, with the full colour set some of the most desirable pennants in the hobby. With no tassels as issued, the solid black soft felt pennant sports screened-on orange graphics, with a few pinholes, wear to the tip and a slight fold. Next, we have a 1970 Stanley Cup team photo pennant, with team graphics on the right and the inserted photo on the left, with the maker listed over the back of the photo along with their Boston address. A few pinholes are present, along with toning and light staining within the center. The third pennant is a team roll-call example, with team logo along with the roster listed over the left. A “1970 NHL Services” copyright appears over the bottom left, with intact and slightly worn/bent tassels, with just light wear to the pennant itself. This is followed by a “Stanley Cup Champions” pennant, in solid white, with team emblem and an NHL logo, with just light wear, and a “Fiftieth Anniversary” pennant, in solid yellow with bear logo and “1924-1974”, with moderate wear including a few pinholes, folds and light stains. The final two pennants are matching in design, with team name and emblem, with one in solid white with a “1970 NHL Services” copyright over the bottom left, and worn tassels, along with a few creases, stains (front and reverse) and an affixed staple. The other is solid yellow, with just an NHL logo over the bottom left, with a few pinholes, wrinkles and wear to the tip.
